I have been super busy lately doing SO many fun cakes.  This is one that I have been looking forward to for several months.  This little guy's mom has used me for both of his birthday parties, and I LOVE working with her because she goes crazy on parties like I do!  Some people may think that a three tiered... kinda expensive.... takes 3 days to complete type of cake is too much for a second birthday.  I'm here to tell you that it's NOT! :)  This will be not only the cake for the party, but the *centerpiece*, the *dessert* and the *GRAND FINALE* of the entire celebration.  And I mean... you are only 2 once, right?  I can't wait for my kids to look back on all their years of their birthday parties and see all the hard work that I put into making it a fun day.  Speaking of which, I have a certain "You Are My Sunshine" party coming up for MY little sunshine's second birthday.  I made a set of printables (which I will be selling on here sometime soon after I get the pics!) and a fantastic cake (of course).  My kids went WILD over this silly little Nemo topper.

 

And... I had the honor of serving the teachers at my kids (yes... kidS... as in plural... my little one is starting school Monday!) school these adorable apple cake pops.  I also made some cupcakes.  This was for the big Back to School - Meet the Teacher bash.  They are on pencils... cute huh!!

Can I just say....... I'm so glad this week is over!  What a CRAZY week!  FOUR cakes, a FULL cake pops class, TWO birthday parties, and a HUGE mess in my kitchen.  These are a couple cute cakes that I did for a few really special birthday ladies.  Check out the classes page to sign up for my upcoming classes!  They are filling up!

Lots of New Classes!

I just posted all of my classes through the end of the year!  Whew!  I have had tons of requests for another Fondant 101, this class will be on September 30.  Also, I have a NEW class debuting on September 17... Birthday Cupcakes!  Please register for all of these classes early, last year every single one of my Fall and Christmas classes filled up.  I will not be teaching (and probably not be selling cakes) in December because I would really like to spend this time with my family.  So, notice all of my Christmas classes are in November.
